You have more assets than you think. List former colleague who’ve left in recent years, executives you interviewed, consultants, others in contact. This is your networking start. email them you are seeking to speak with them…then get 3 referrals from each, and so on. Come back in 3 weeks to report, right here!

This happened to me and you’re right, there are more degrees of separation once you step back to look. One question – how to keep track of all the networking on a PC?

LinkedIn will get you online with some others. Try products you buy and download at jobsearchpublishers.com to organize your networking and even search activities. nothing beats good ole hand files when workting thru phone calls and putting internet articles in one place for later reads
